Alberta Honda Services in Edmonton

At Alberta Honda, we are committed to making sure that when your vehicle needs to be serviced, it is as quick and painless as possible. Here is a list of some of our most frequently asked questions to help cut down on some of the confusion about our service department.

Q: Where should I take my car if it needs a repair?

A: It is best if your vehicle is serviced only by an authorized Honda service department. At Alberta Honda, our service department only uses Honda Certified parts, which ensures that each part fits your vehicle perfectly.

Q: If I do decide to take my vehicle to get serviced by someone other than Honda, will my warranty be voided?

A: Not necessarily. If the service work is done properly, it will not void the warranty. However, if it can be proven that misuse or improper maintenance contributed to your vehicles malfunctions, your warranty may be affected. That's why it is always a good idea to have your vehicle's maintenance done at an experienced and authorized Honda dealer.

Q: How often should I get my oil changed in my Honda?

A: Your owners manual will give you a detailed explanation of when your vehicle should receive an oil change. The service intervals should be listed by time and distance. Your vehicle should receive an oil change at whichever factor, time or distance, comes first.

Q: Would it be alright if I changed the oil in my vehicle more frequently than is recommended?

A: There is no benefit whatsoever to changing your oil more frequently than recommended. Doing so will only increase your cost as an owner.
