Honda Sensing ™ Technologies
The Honda Sensing ™ Technologies are equipped on certain models, such as the Honda Fit (CVT only), the Honda Odyssey and Honda HR-V. This system is intuitive and allows you to drive with peace of mind. The Forward Collision Warning (FCW) system will detect vehicles in front of you and alert you if you are driving too fast. And, if you are unable to respond in time, the system will automatically slow down or stop your vehicle. The Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) is designed for relaxing and safe highway driving. All you need to do is set your speed and following distance and then you can relax behind the steering wheel. The Road Departure Mitigation (RDM) system helps steer your vehicle back to the road and even apply the brakes when it detects your vehicle leaving the road.
Stay In Your Lane
Drivers sometimes drift from their lane mistakenly,. so Honda has designed some technologies to make sure you stay in your lane. The Lane Departure Warning (LDW) system keeps an eye on your vehicle’s lane position and provides a visual or tactile alert when your vehicle drifts into another lane without signaling. The Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) helps correct your steering when you begin to leave your lane without signaling, applying torque to steer you back to the centre of your lane.
