Honda is one of the most popular brands in the world. They’ve used innovative design to push not only their own agenda but to better the entire automotive industry. Remnants of Honda’s design elements can be seen in a variety of places throughout the industry, in all manner of engineering in general actually. It’s no surprise then that Honda is the recipient of yet another big award.
The 2018 Honda CR-V has earned the award for Most innovative SUV and Car of the Year from the 2018 Edmunds CES Tech Driven Awards.
Here’s what Alistair Weaver, Edmunds editor-in-chief, had to say. “With wins in two of six categories, it is clear that pushing the boundaries of automotive innovation is in Honda’s DNA. Both the forward-thinking Honda Clarity and class-leading Honda CR-V are prime examples of how Honda innovates with buyers in mind and makes advanced technology features that are both easy to use and accessible beyond high priced luxury vehicles.”
Edmunds chose the CR-V based on its efficiency, its innovation, and its overall packaging, citing the CR-V’s “Advanced driver assistance technologies and active safety features” as the driving reason. Edmunds also mentioned the CR-V’s “affordable price point.”
Here at Alberta Honda, we’re proud to be able to deal with a quality of vehicle that is constantly gaining international acclaim. Come into our fabulous new showroom and check out the 2018 CR-V or any other of our amazing new and used vehicles.
